The highly anticipated inaugural Festival of Women’s Football Awards is set to take place at the luxurious 8 Northumberland Avenue, a prestigious venue in the heart of central London. The landmark event promises to shine a spotlight on women’s footballers, grassroots heroes, and the entire women’s football community.
The evening will be hosted by talkSPORT and DAZN presenter Shebahn Aherne, a hugely prominent and popular figure in women’s football. Best known for her presence across national platforms covering women’s sport, her experience and passion will set the stage for an unforgettable night of inspiration and recognition.
The Festival of Women’s Football Awards will feature a stellar lineup of presenters and jurors, including leading figures from the world of sport, media and business. Notable names include The Guardian’s Women’s Football Correspondent, Suzy Wrack; national commentator Jacqui Oatley; and Tammy Parlour, CEO and Co-Founder of the Women’s Sport Trust. In response to overwhelming interest, the deadline for award entries has been officially extended, allowing more individuals and organisations the opportunity to submit nominations. The new deadline for entries is now Thursday, 27th March, and entries are now free to submit via the website.
