After reading Law at Cambridge University and completing his Legal Practice Course at Oxford, Andreopoulos completed his military service in Greece before beginning his career at Freshfields, working across both Europe and Asia in London and Hong Kong, negotiating deals totalling over $10 billion (USD) during his tenure.
In 2008, Andreopoulos joined Anschutz Entertainment Group, rising to become Vice President of AEG Sports Europe and lead the sports event division, overseeing business development and commercial activities, including booking venues, setting up strategic partnerships and selling media rights. He was also a voting board member of Swedish club Hammarby Fotboll.
Andreopoulos joined Formula E in 2017, heading up sales, hospitality and an ever-growing portfolio of partners and blue-chip brands which joined during his tenure.
After leaving Formula E in 2020 Andreopoulos co-founded several pioneering projects, including SeaBird Technologies Limited designing and building electric boats, the E1 World Electric Powerboat Series launching in 2024 and FIM E-Xplorer, the electric all-terrain motorcycle championship which started in June 2023.
He was also a partner with ICARUS Sports, a full-service boutique sports agency servicing start up and scale up sports properties with content production, media distribution and commercial advice and representation. In addition he founded YKJA Ltd, a sports business advisory firm and hosted the SportsLoft podcast, taking a regular deep-dive with industry leaders in the world of sports and media technology.
Most recently he joined The IRONMAN Group as EVP of Global Partnerships, overseeing the partnership development and management as well as media distribution and Business Intelligence for the Group.
